Exam Information

  • The test has 50 multiple-choice questions, and you need to get at least 35 right to pass.

  • Tests are done online and supervised with a webcam and a good internet connection, so you can take them wherever and whenever you want.

  • The exam lasts for 1 hour, which is the same as 60 minutes.

  • During the exam monitored by ProctorU, you can't use any outside sources for information. They'll give you specific details about what materials you can use, like your ID.

  • If someone doesn't pass the exam on their first try, they need to wait at least seven days before trying again. After that, they can retake the exam as many times as needed.

  • The CPFA™ certification stays valid for your whole life.

  • CPFA™ is a trademark of GIPMC.

  • Getting certified as a CPFA™ with GIPMC doesn't require any special qualifications beforehand. While you don't have to take an E-Course from the GIPMCBok portal, it's a good idea because many questions on the actual exam come from that course.
