Exam Information

  • The test has 40 multiple-choice questions. To pass, you need to get 28 out of 40 questions right, which is 70% correct.

  • The exams are done online and supervised, using a webcam and a good internet connection. You can take the exams from anywhere and at any time.

  • The exam lasts for one hour, which is 60 minutes in total.

  • During the exam monitored by GIPMC through ProctorU, you can't look up anything online. They'll tell you what kind of ID you need to show.

  • If you don't pass the GIPMC exam on your second try, you have to wait at least fourteen days before trying again. After that, you can take the exam as many times as you need.

  • Once you earn the GIPMC Linux Certified Professional (LCP)™ Certificate, it stays valid for your entire life.

  • LCP™ is a trademark owned by GIPMC.

  • N/A

  • You don't need any specific requirements to get the GIPMC Linux Certified Professional (LCP)™ Certification. However, we suggest taking the E-Course because most of the exam questions come from there.
