To sit in this exam the candidate must hold the Linux Certified Professional Certificate, Each objective is assigned a weighting value. The weights range roughly from 1 to 10 and indicate the relative importance of each objective. Objectives with higher weights will be covered in the exam with more questions from the below mentioned topics.

  • The test has 80 multiple-choice questions. To pass, you need to get 56 out of 80 questions right, which is 65% correct.

  • The exams are done online and supervised, using a webcam and a good internet connection. You can take the exams from anywhere and at any time.az

  • The exam lasts for an hour and a half, which is 90 minutes in total.

  • During the exam monitored by GIPMC through ProctorU, you can't look up anything online. They'll tell you what kind of ID you need to show.

  • If you don't pass the GIPMC exam on your second try, you have to wait at least fourteen days before trying again. After that, you can take the exam as many times as you need.

  • Once you earn the GIPMC Linux Certified Engineer (LCE) Certificate, it stays valid for your entire life.
