Exam Information

  • The exam has 100 multiple-choice questions. To pass, you need to get 70% of them correct, which means answering 70 questions accurately.

  • You can take the exams online from anywhere and at any time. They are monitored using a webcam and require a good internet connection.

  • The exam lasts for 2 hours, which is the same as 120 minutes.

  • During the exam monitored by ProctorU, you can't use any outside sources for information. The only thing you can have is your ID for identification.

  • If you don't pass the exam on your second try, you need to wait at least 14 days before trying again for the third time or any time after that. You can take the exam as many times as you need.

  • The ISO 50001:2018 - Certified Lead Auditor Certificate stays valid forever.
  • When showing your certificate, remember:
  • Don't say: "ISO certified" or "ISO certification."
  • Do say: "ISO 9001:2008 certified" or "ISO 9001:2008 certification" (for example).

  • The ISO 50001 : 2018 - Certified Lead Auditor Certification has no pre-requisites (Completion of an E-Course is not mandatory from GIPMCBok portal), but we highly recommend doing the E-Course as maximum number of questions are drawn from the E-Course in the actual exam.
