Certification Overview

The Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM) certificate recognizes individuals with advanced skills in project management. It demonstrates expertise in planning, executing, and closing projects effectively, utilizing methodologies like Agile and Waterfall. CPPMs are proficient in leadership, team coordination, resource allocation, and budget management. This certification ensures that professionals can deliver projects that meet objectives, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

E-Course Duration: 45 to 50 hours

Exam Information

  • The exam has 100 multiple choice questions. To pass, you need to get 80 of them right, which is 75% of the total. The CPPM™ certification exam is known as one of the toughest for Project Managers. Usually, 7 out of 10 project managers fail the exam the first time they take it.

  • Tests are done online and supervised using a webcam and good internet. You can take them from any place and at any time.

  • The exam lasts for 2 hours, which is the same as 120 minutes.

  • During the ProctorU exam, you can't look at any outside information. They'll tell you what materials you're allowed to have, like your ID.

  • If you don't pass the exam on your second try, you have to wait at least fourteen (14) days before you can take it again for the third (3rd) time or any time after that. You can take the exam as many times as you need to. 

  • The Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM)™ Certificate is valid for five (5) years. To keep it current, you can either retake the exam or complete the PPM E-Course to earn continuing education units (CEUs). Renewing your certificate will help you maintain your professional status and credentials. Remember, certificates must be renewed before they expire to stay active. You can take the exam as many times as you need to.
