E-Course Duration: 20 to 25 Hours

Exam Information

  • The test has 40 multiple-choice questions. To pass, you need to get at least 28 of them right, which is 70% of the total.

  • You can take the exams online, and they're monitored using a webcam and a good internet connection. This means you can take the exams from anywhere and at any time.

  • The exam lasts for 1 hour, which is the same as 60 minutes.

  • During the exam with ProctorU, you can't use any outside sources of information. They'll give you more details about what you can use, like your ID.

  • If you don't pass the exam the second time, you have to wait at least fourteen (14) days before you can try again for the third time or any time after that. You can take the exam as many times as you need to.

  • Once you earn the Data Centre Expert Certification (DCEC)® Certificate, it stays valid forever.

  • To register for the DCEC® Certification exam, you must already have the Certified Data Centre Specialist (CDCS)™ Certificate.
